Programme

9.00 a.m. – Monks chanting

– Phaa Paa offering ceremony to celebrate the inauguration of the temple pavilion of Wat Sanggharangsee

– Monks chant blessing of appreciation. Buddhist laity pour the water of dedication, sharing the merit and receiving blessing.

11.00 a.m. – Offering of food to the monks.

1.00 p.m. – Consecration of area and placement of boundary-marking stones of the temple pavilion.

– Guest of Honour offers gifts to Head Monk.

– Host Committee offer gifts to monks.

– Monks chant blessing of appreciation. Buddhist laity pour the water of dedication, sharing the merit and receiving blessing.

3.00 p.m. – Ordination ceremony of novices and monks celebrating the temple hall.

(Please Note: No parking is available on Conrad Drive)

Parking Area

To people travelling to join the celebration, please park your cars at the parking area of MyState Bank Arena, 601 Brooker Hwy. Glenorchy (formerly Derwent Entertainment Centre)

The temple will provide a shuttle bus from the parking area to the temple at 8:30 and 9:30 am.

and from the temple back to the parking area at 15:00 and 16:00 pm.
